Donate with NEAR on POTLOCK

Donate in NEAR to campaigns and projects on POTLOCK. NEAR is the native chain for POTLOCK; quadratic funding rounds use the protocol’s matching contracts. You can donate in two ways:

Two ways to donate in NEAR​

  1. Via QR code (cross-chain, settle in NEAR) — Choose a campaign, click Donate, select NEAR, enter amount. A QR code appears; you can pay from any supported chain (e.g. ETH, BTC, SOL) and settlement is in NEAR. Scan with your wallet or use the wallet’s send flow to pay the exact amount. Confirmation is on the NEAR network.
  2. Sign in with wallet and pay from balance — Sign in to app.potlock.org with your NEAR wallet. Add projects to cart and transact directly from your NEAR balance—no QR code. Ideal for direct project donations and when you already hold NEAR.

Both paths support the same campaigns and projects; use the one that fits how you prefer to pay.

Steps (QR code / cross-chain, settle in NEAR)​

  1. Choose a campaign — Go to app.potlock.org and open the campaign you want to support.
  2. Click Donate — On the campaign page, click Donate.
  3. Select NEAR — In the donation flow, open the chain/network dropdown and select NEAR.
  4. Choose an amount — Enter the amount in NEAR.
  5. Pay with the QR code — A QR code appears; you can pay from a NEAR wallet or from another chain (settlement in NEAR). Scan it or use your wallet’s send flow to pay the exact amount.
  6. Confirmation — You receive confirmation on the NEAR network. Verify on NEAR Explorer or in your wallet.

Steps (signed-in, direct from balance)​

  1. Sign in — Connect your NEAR wallet at app.potlock.org.
  2. Add to cart — Open a project or campaign, choose amount, and add to cart. You can add multiple projects.
  3. Proceed to donate — Open the cart and click Proceed to donate. Confirm the transaction; the amount is deducted from your NEAR balance.
